Being a father in the 21st Century is far different from the role played by our fathers and grandfathers. Every household is different. There are households with two working parents, stay at home moms, stay at home dads, divorced parents, blended families, two dads or just about any other configuration you could think of. With all of these dynamic environments, men are forced to undertake greater and dramatically different responsibilities than those needed just a few decades ago. The goal of Frederick Dads is to provide a resource for fathers that will help all of us succeed and build a strong community.
Since I have become a stay at home dad, I have found lots of resources for moms. I believe that there is a need for similar options for dads, so I started this site. It is currently in the initial phases of development. I have many plans and ideas for the site, but I would love to hear your suggestions. If you have information that you feel would be useful to others, discussion topics or questions for the group, please contact me. I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing from you!
Is this group happening I would be interested in attending. Thanks
I sent you a private message through gmail. We are planning an event at the Boulder Yard at the end of February.
